Why does the flu shot prevent the flu?

October 18, 2019

what the flu shot is is it’s an
inactivated virus so it actually has four different viruses in there
typically three a viruses and one B virus and those are all that I’ve been
circulating kind of in the Australia and those areas and so when you get a flu
shot that protects you against four different strains of flu if you don’t
get the flu then you don’t spread the flu because you’re not coughing you’re
not sneezing and those cough particles will carry virus to other people that
have not gotten a flu vaccine and then they can get an infection so if you get
your flu shot then you are protecting others around you and so you are
preventing the spread of infection
