PEOPLE TAKE VITAMIN C OR DRINK EMERGEN-C OR DRINK ELDER BERRY SYRUP. THE DOCTORS SAY YOU HIT 100% OF VITAMINS, AND MORE DOES NOT HELP FIGHT OFF COLDS. ANOTHER HOME REMEDY I WAS TOLD AND APPARENTLY SOMEWHAT COMMON IS EATING GARLIC. HERE’S WHAT DR. CAROL HAD TO SAY.>>THIS IS ONE OF THOSE, LOOK, GARLIC, IT’S AM BIKETOUS. IF YOU WANT TO TAKE IT, GO FOR IT, IT MIGHT MAKE YOU SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE, BUT GO AHEAD.>>IT DOESN’T HELP FIGHT IT OFF. WHAT HOME REMEDIES, IF ANY, DO YOU RECOMMEND?>>ANY WEIRD THING?>>NO.>>HAND WASH. PROPER HAND WASHING, ONE, TWO, AND THREE ON ANY LIST.>>THAT’S THE FIRST RECOMMENDATION. WASH HANDS ALL THE TIME. THERE’S STILL TIME FOR A FLU SHOT IF YOU WANT ONE, AND EAT HEALTHY AND EXERCISE FOR 30 MINUTES A DAY. BASICALLY, THE STUFF THAT WE KNOW TO BE TRUE, APPARENTLY, WE JUST WANT TO FIGHT IT AS SOCIETY, NO, THERE’S ONE SECRET THING THAT’LL WORK, BUT, NO, THAT’S NOT REAL.>>OBVIOUSLY, NEVER TRYING THE GARLIC.>>I’M NOT GIVING THAT A GO. THE THING WITH THE HAND WASHING IS, I WASH AT THE STATION, BUT THEN I GOT TO TOUCH THE DOOR HANDLE, DEFEATING THE PURPOSE.
