Triphala is not appropriate for everyone to use. Based on where it’s manufactured, it may also contain toxins, such as mercury and lead, making some supplements unsafe for human consumption. Taking this herb daily is considered unsafe for use in babies and children, the elderly, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Gastrointestinal side effects, such as loose stools, have been noted anecdotally among people who use triphala daily.
There is also a very high risk of toxin contamination in triphala supplements.Β Find out if the manufacturer tests each batch of triphala for contaminants, such as lead, mercury, and arsenic. Some manufacturers use independent, U.S.-based laboratories for testing, and will be able to provide you with a certificate of analysis if you request one.
This herb, like many other natural drugs, can interfere with many medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, blood clotting drugs, and anti-anxiety medications. For people with diabetes, this can cause elevations in blood sugar.Triphala purchased from non-reputable sources like local vendors or open or loose packings may contain additives or toxins.
In some cases triphala may trigger gastrointestinal problems.
Excessive intake of Triphala induces some side effects such as diarrhoea, gas influx, indigestion or loose motions which cannot be controlled immediately with medicines but subsidise after its affect looses.
In acute cases, diarrhoea caused by triphala may result in dehydration.
Prolonged period of diarrhoea puts unnecessary strain on the muscles of the colon thereby causing other health issues. Difficulty in sleeping is yet another common side effect of triphala. The severity of sleep problem depends on the dosage of triphala.
Here these people are only concerned to earn money through advertisements they get here, these people themselves may not be using triphala. They are showing these videos without knowing the health disasters these ayurvedic medicines give as plants contain certain toxins and impurities which ayurvedic medicines producing companies compromise with by not removing impurities from herbs and this leads to a big financial spending which companies generally escape.
