Sinusitis, Animation.

September 5, 2019

Sinusitis, also known as sinus infection or
rhinosinusitis, is a very common condition where the paranasal sinuses are inflamed,
causing congested nose, headache and facial pain.
Paranasal sinuses are air cavities in the bones of the skull. There are four pairs of
sinuses located on either side of the head. They are the maxillary, frontal, ethmoid,
and sphenoid sinuses. The sinuses are lined with respiratory epithelium
producing mucus. The mucus drains into the nasal cavity through small openings. Impaired
sinus drainage has been associated with inflammation of sinuses. When a sinus is blocked, fluid
builds up, making it a favorable environment for bacteria or viruses grow and cause infection.
A typical sinusitis symptom is described as a dull pain or constant pressure commonly
localized to the affected sinus. The pain may worsen when the person bends over or while
lying down. Symptoms often start on one side of the head and spread to the other side.
Acute sinusitis may be also be accompanied by thick nasal discharge of yellow greenish
color. Sinusitis may have different causes. These
include: – Allergy: allergens such as pollen, pet dander…
may trigger inflammatory response of the mucosa of the nose and sinuses, resulting in excess
mucus production, nasal congestion, sneezing and itching.
– Infection: infection usually occurs as a complication of a common cold. Impaired sinus
drainage due to inflammation of nasal mucosa during a cold often leads to infection of
the sinus itself. Cold-like symptoms plus headache, facial pain or pressure are common
complaints. – Other conditions that cause blockage of
sinus drainage. These include: structural abnormalities such as deviated nasal septum;
formation of nasal polyps. Treatments vary depending on the cause of
sinusitis: – For allergy: intranasal corticosteroids
are commonly used. – For viral infection: symptom relief medications
such as nasal spray for irrigation and decongestion; other conservative treatment for common cold
such as rest and drinking plenty of fluid. – For bacterial infection: antibiotics may
be prescribed. – For recurrent or chronic sinusitis due to
structural abnormalities or nasal polyps, nasal surgery may be recommended to clear
up the drainage canal.

here's a few tips to try
buy a saline rinse – this is a great way to keep your nose healthy
cook with chili peppers – these have capsaicin that helps shrink nose polyps naturally.
Use Tea Tree Oil – dilute first then swab the polyps with it – this can shrink polpys and reduce symptoms.
Eat more food high in anioxidants – broccoli, citrus fruits etc – these can reduce nose polyps naturally.
(I read these and why they work on jits polyp plan website )

I believe this is my issue, the pain starts under my eyes, my cheekbone and my upper jaw. Normally, it lasts for a day and it goes away. Today, when I ate something and drank fluids, the pain went away. When I got ready for bed, it came back. I do have a doctors appointment for the 26th of January, hopefully I can get some clarification to see about this sinusitis. This weather isn't helping

I have trouble breathing at night as i have stuffy nose, either one side of my nose. And then i also suffer from major headache around my forehead and also my cheekbone, and i also have dull pain. My eyes feels sore. I couldnt help it. I'll be going to the ENT doctor soon. Hopefully the doctor can give me some medication on this. Im scared. It felt so terrible 🙁 please tell me its normal to feel like this

Sinus surgery is necessary for some people—but it is serious and risky business. Any doctor that truly cares about the patient's well-being will try EVERYTHING else before surgery. You could end up with terrible complications, such as Trigeminal Neuralgia or nerve damage. Do research. Make sure you have really weighed all the options before committing to surgery. The nasal turbinates are an especially dangerous area, as damage to that area can cause Empty Nose Syndrome, which can make the person feel as if they are suffocating.

It has only been 21 days since I have began with the nasal polyps treatment method “Fαfοnzα TD” (Google it) and my nose is much better, making me feel more energetic every single day. I am much more confident now that the nasal polyps are starting to disappear permanently. The great thing about it is I did not keep on self-loathing anymore and I was saved from expending for a very costly removal surgery treatment.
