Luke 19: 27 "But bring those enemies of mine who didn't want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.'"
Matthew 10:34 the whole "not peace but a sword", love me more than anyone else, or you're not "worthy

Evolution is a Joke Macro evolution requires information be added by a mutation when there is no proof of any real addition mostly the opposite. Epic Fail.

  • Reply mewanttotubeyou January 12, 2012 at 10:38 pm

@LightC0de Dawkins acknowledges this argument. We can say that we are alive because God made this inhabitable planet for us, but if we think about whether there are other planets in the universe where there could be life, it may very well be possible. The fact is that only on a planet that supports life could we discuss this topic at all, and at a conservatively estimated billion billion planets (that's one-billion billion), the conditions for life to occur on even just one becomes probable.

God know everything that ever was and ever will be.
He made the sinners and he made a place for them.
    Eternal agony.
His eyes glitter like jewels as he feasts on the sublime, wretched infinite torment of his creations.
    He likes to watch.
In pure crystalline hatred he can observe this exquisite pain and suffering forever and ever. Amen.
He LOVES IT! for he is a loving god.

The truth is…Atheists, Christians, Muslim, Baptists, Westboro Bapstists,…no matter how hard we try and find the answer to the big unanswered question of God, we will never find it. And this gap of information is why we as humans find resort in Belief. The so-called atheists are the ones who stick strictly to reality, proven facts and science; Christians give their own interpretation of the Bible and so on. Nobody has the right to be arrogant because…

Dawkins was making sense when he talk about the theory of evolution. However, he becomes laughable, naive and illeterate about religious belief when he uses passages in the scripture without understanding the entirety of of the Bible. It's very obvious that he don't understand what he is talking about, he should have stayed within the boundaries of atheism.

Bet we know your religion more than you do. Haven't you even tried thinking for a second that we most of us are former believers? And that knowing your religion for what it truly is, with the help of skepticism, will eventually lead you to stop believing?

Atheism is not a belief, it's a conclusion. You we're born an atheist, just been diluted by your parent's belief system. Wake up and open your eyes guys for the sake of humanity.

Organisms evolve based on changes in external environments. That is fact, a virus mutates every year. It does this because the bodies immunities have evolved against it, so the virus needs to evolve into a different from to continue existing. The virus is small and lives a very short life so its evolutionary process is much faster then ours. However if our environment drastically chained then you would see human evolution happen very rapidly as environment turns certain genes on and off.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 5:17 am

Overtime things tend to balance themselves out. Shake up sand in water and watch it slowly drift back down to where every grain of sand falls into balance. Life evolves and uses other life to live, over millions of years this effect snowballs into the massive balanced working environment that you see and that you're apart of. If you start out with an ocean then life it is natural to say that life would evolve to fit the size of the ocean as it wouldn't be able to survive if it didn't.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 5:30 am

How can you be so certain of your feelings of certainty without evidence, what put them there i wonder? perhaps those feelings come from your subconscious that was put created by your parents, loved ones, peers or people you looked up too who taught you religion when you were in your infancy. Strong feelings arise when presented with a concept of hell which would drive anyone to have faith, have faith or else suffer. This is a pretty emotional subject hits where your feeling might come from.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 5:35 am

Pedophiles and suicides are a direct effect of ones environment. Certain emotional traumas and experiences of culture can actually turn certain gens on or off which is how evolution works. So the genes come second to external forces not the other way around.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 5:41 am

We are the universe and the universe is us, we are the Earth and the Earth is us, there is no he, there is no them, there is only we.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 5:45 am

Thats the thing about the concept of believing, it has no boundaries so it's no suppress that you could believe the Earth could be made in 6 days. I can believe that 1+1=5 but looking at the evidence I can also make a more logical and less personal conclusion and that would allow me to conclude the answer to be 2.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 5:50 am

My parents once told me that Santa Clause knew everything too, just to keep me under control. If our universe was made by God then who made the God? And why does "someone" have to "make" everything or anything in this universe at all?

  • Reply papwalker99 January 29, 2013 at 5:58 am

You didn't read it otherwise you would realise it was pure sarcasm.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 6:02 am

Religion doesn't evolve, it has an ego. Science however constantly evolves and holds onto nothing. Nothing is considered science fact until proven and if something can't be proven then the conclusion is based on the best provided evidence. All's the scientist is doing is wanting to teach the proven facts and the best provided evidence for theory and how it was arrived to get there. Instead of beliefs from a very contradictive book which was written thousands of years ago.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 6:08 am

Thats not true, science could make a ground breaking discovery which could prove the beginnings. Science has already discovered unimaginable things in the past 100yrs. Or, God could come down and visit us once again and prove religion to be true….

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 6:11 am

How do you know that he doesn't understand the entirety of the Bible? He might know more than you think.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 6:16 am

We are evolving to understand that question more and more as time goes on. Thanks to Science and the breaking of the power of the church we have made great progress in the past couple hundred years. We once thought Earth was flat, the center of the universe and nothing beyond the solar system. We now know that there are 200billion galaxies all moving away from each other which means we were all together at one time and exploded outwards.

  • Reply jason mathias January 29, 2013 at 1:31 pm

I'm sure he realizes its sarcasm, is what is disturbing to him is how many people believe in this sarcasm, take it seriously, live their entire lives by it, how many people kill, manipulate and indoctrinate children to believe in this same sarcasm.

  • Reply LightC0de February 6, 2013 at 8:05 am

Jason you're an uneducated dork. Do you know anything about Intelligent design? do you have any idea how complicated the human body is & how DNA is so advanced? How everything take beyond genius engineering and you think that this is all some random chance & balance of time? LMAO!!! Do you know anything about Quantum Physics? its all theory because no one can ever know the truth until you die & if you're Christian go to heaven & even then you may not ever know the absolute truth. Only God does!!

  • Reply Vincent Avalon February 7, 2013 at 3:41 pm

Have you read the entire Bible, Jason? When you read it, it's not easy to understand because there's a lot to consider. First, the entire Bible has a theme. The theme connects all books from Genesis to Revelation. Do you know the theme? Second, you have to consider the time it was written, the language used, the culture and technology. I have heard sermons, read the Bible for the last 40 years. I would consider only a theologian can surpass me. What, an atheist as adept as a theologian?

  • Reply jason mathias February 7, 2013 at 4:05 pm

No I haven't read the entire bible. I somewhat know the theme in a general form. There are lots of books out there that describe where we came from, the universe in which we live and the morality of human beings. I wonder what makes one book based on faith and belief so powerful even when no proof or logical sense can be made from it as much as scientific fact and theory? I think it has to do with psychology in self, family and ancestral identity.

  • Reply jason mathias February 7, 2013 at 4:24 pm

Because it seems complicated to you doesnt mean some being made it. The more time and space there is the more time and space has to make things complicated as there is a infinite possibility of complexity. I know ALOT about Quantum Physics, I'm fascinated with it bc it doesnt mach up with Physics. 100's of yrs ago when the planetary alignments didnt add up the people back then threw their hands up and said the same thing that your saying now. Mystical thinking is a outlet when we dont understand

  • Reply jason mathias February 7, 2013 at 4:34 pm

There is lots of evidence for random balance that is shaped by the environment in turn the environment is changed from that which in turn changes again in everlasting chain of cause an effect. You can even do a experiment. Take a glass ball with water and sand in it,shake it up and watch all the sand fall back down into place. If you did this in space the sand would clump together. See, environment is what shapes not some mystical being in the sky. Your the dork! Probably stil believe in Santa!

  • Reply Vincent Avalon February 21, 2013 at 5:01 am

Base on your statement, your not familiar with the Bible. There is no more scientific evidence because miracles has stopped at the first century. Scientific inquiry starts with observation, we cannot study God because He's a Spirit, we cannot observe something that is immaterial. The Bible is not one book, it is compose of 66 books. The explosion of Christianity during Christ is a very strong evidence of Christ resurrection and therefore the truthfulness of His claims.

  • Reply Tod Woodward March 27, 2013 at 7:07 am

There is nothing Richard Dawkins explains that goes against common sense. As much as he wouldn't want it, I believe he will be revered in centuries to come as the first 'prophet' if you'll excuse the irony, of Atheism. In other words, common sense. Believers in faith, please open your eyes and ears to the ubiquitous truth of nature that is all around you. Physical evidence that you can see, smell, hear and touch. Mathematics is never wrong, physics is mathematics, mathematics is 100% proof.

  • Reply LightC0de April 6, 2013 at 8:09 am

That's still under the physical properties of the first 4 dimensions not the ones outside. You are looking at the physical not the quantum. You moron you know nothing.

  • Reply jason mathias April 6, 2013 at 4:31 pm

The quantum physics is still governed by certain laws that can be experimented with and still show patterns, we are still able to predict what will happen based on these quantum laws of the universe. The quantum level is still in the same universe, things just appear to act with different with different laws because the environment has changed, its just a whole lot smaller and were still trying to figure this new science out and we will.

  • Reply LightC0de April 7, 2013 at 8:11 am

It's never going to happen the Universe is too complex it will take millions of years and the end times will come alot sooner. You can't play God it's never going to work.

  • Reply jason mathias April 9, 2013 at 1:39 pm

I agree that it's probably impossible to be able to unlock all of the universe's mysteries. But we have discovered a great amount in only the last 100years which is a tiny fraction to a million years. People already do play God, ex- cloning, nuclear weapons, printing organs and sometimes it might work and sometimes it doesn't but people do play God. Basically God is the universe and we do play with the universe so…

  • Reply LightC0de April 13, 2013 at 5:34 am

That's all acknowledge to me but first of all man the way man is i doubt will last more than a few thousand years tops probably at most a centuries or even just a few more decades the way things are going because its all going to hell quick and that's when Jesus will come. Then all Christians will have eternal life and be made new and everyone else will be in hell. Most of these things will become obsolete like printing organs and nuclear weapons. God revealed all this will change for good.

  • Reply veganath May 22, 2013 at 3:46 pm

Even prominent atheist advocate, SAM HARRIS, isn't completely dismissive of so called 'spirituality' in religion, Sam often speaks & has a high regard for the contemplative religious traditions saying that they have the potential for insights that we are yet to garner into consciousness. Such experimentation may well contribute to our next milestone in the evolution of consciousness together with human/animal well-being; perhaps the fulfillment of the Biblical prophecy of the Peaceable Kingdom

  • Reply SaturnApollo June 7, 2013 at 8:19 pm

Dawkins said in his book River Out of Eden "The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil & no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference…DNA neither cares nor knows. DNA just is. & we dance to its music". Atheism doesn't allow room to believe in true objective morality. It says we're just advanced monkeys. He says there's no evil then tries to use it against God. Just more atheistic contradictory foolishness.

I feel so sad thinking of the ignorance and how wrong everything is. People fallibly clinging to their Gods of no evidence. I can't fathom they could even actually believe that. Indeed religion is the root of ALL evil. Only gives me some comfort that things are how they are. Imaginations of gods will vanish along with us. This is just a planet in a vast universe. We're so small the rest of the universe never even notices we're here. I see no more hope for reason, I'm glad nonsense dies with us.

Religion is a necessity to keep order that gives hope to the downtrodden: false but it is hope. With all its evils, by & large, religion/s do provide solace, comfort & joy to Believers. Grew up in a very religious family, by 26, I lost my faith studying Geology & Genetics.
Education is the only recourse. Our societies are geared for keeping people ignorant lest they start demanding the same privileges as their controllers.
Deprive the downtrodden their hope shall be chaotic.

If one has the sense to realize evolution by natural selection (sexual selection, stabilizing selection, neutral drift, etc.) is a fact, understands how it actually works, and can see the parallel with meme evolution – religious ideas and how they have come to infect the minds of so many, why they are so pervasive and persistent, and how they can survive the inoculation against them provided by facts and knowledge is PERFECTLY understandable.
