Norovirus Shuts Down Minnehaha Academy

A MINNEAPOLIS PRIVATE SCHOOL IS CLOSED FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK AFTER DOZENS OF KIDS AND FACULTY GOT SICK. THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SUSPECTS THAT NOROVIRUS IS TO BLAME. 60 STUDENTS AT MINNEHAHA ACADEMY WERE HOME SICK. FACULTY MEMBERS LEFT SCHOOL EARLY. WCCO’S JENNIFER MAYERLE FOUND OUT HOW TO STOP THE SPREAD. EMPTY SCHOOLS WILL BE THE NORM AT MINNEHAHA UPPER SCHOOL FOR THE WEEK. IT HAPPENED FROM 4:00, 5:00 P.M. THROUGH THIS MORNING, BOOM JUST RIGHT NOW. AND HOCKEY PLAYERS, SKIERS, FACULTY. Reporter: 20% OF THE SCHOOL GOT SICK. PRINCIPAL WENCHLEEN SAID HIS TEAM TOOK IMMEDIATE ACTION IN THE SAFETY. CLEANED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. JUST A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT’S WHY WE DID THIS.     I go to minnehaha lower school and we had the norovirus at our school so we had three days off. After coming back to school kids were still getting sick like my friend Robert
