    Nako,
Self Love and Self Care and forgiveness for your self and others who have hurt you does work, Spiritual healing comes from laying on the hands in prayer from those with the power to heal… But you need to come with a broken and contrite spirit and a heart that is willing to be healed.. (closed mouths don get fed). Speak that you need prayer……and reading the word of God, Gives clarity and promise..

Twisted? Twisted like your mind! You have sold your self to the devil and you know it! I'm not going to agrue with the retards in chat because they can't see the truth. This all started during your last album when you released a video of youself naked with the word womanizer on your face while singing "if i make it out alive"…. Hoka he hoka he hands in the dirt bush mama told crying in the chasm

Nahko Bear, where are you today? on the road of endless going? give the tour a rest for awhile… how you gonna hear those sweet melodies with all those people cheering. Come back to the Big Island, recharge your power, your connection is still there. Listen to the coqui's sing, listen to the pouring rain, walk out to Kalapana where Pele's hair twists, where She removes our pain. Come home my friend!

Nahko, don't forget who you are. At times we feel lost, hopeless, empty. Don't forget to look upon the sun, the moon, and the midnight scars. The wind as our guide. Here are a few things I have written in my past.

    Close your eyes.
    Search inside yourself.
    Your soul.
You do not have to share what you find.
Though you might deem it necessary.
We are all as our fruits.
My mind allows me to see through your roots.
    If my heart so desires.
Though all thoughts come with a price.
    A catch.
    A loss.
    An ugly side.
The more I look upon someone's roots,
The more my roots become as theirs.
Creating a piece of them within who I am as well.
    That's the price of understanding.

Looking for something to search for.
    Grabbing my thoughts.
    Gathering my mess within minds.
    Dare I step up.
    Step out.
The world is not the only thing I see anymore.
Rows of sorrow fill the plane.
Hearing a voice of sorrow silently calling my name.
    Which name are they calling?
What are they searching for in my field of mess?
How did they make their way here?
    With me?
How could it be that someone knows how to get into my field of mess?
    And still function properly?
    I do not understand.
Looking for something to search for.
    Gathering my things.
    Gathering my mess within minds.
    Dare I step up.
    Step out.

Typing in the season called depression.
Rushing through the fields of anxiety.
    Continuously finding yourself trapped.
A people person is who you wish to be.
Though people always seem to be something you could never truly be.
Which makes it hard to find a friend in someone.
Not to say it cannot be done.
Sometimes they like to just hangout for fun.
Rather than stay inside and hum.
Shall we now sing to the sound of someone else's drum?
We have the idea of someone else's personality.
Now this here is a reality.
    People copy other people mindlessly.
Don't attack someone mentally or verbally simply because you don't understand their company.
Simply because you don't get their personality.
We are not the ones to be doing such things.
Instead, let's sing about the good things.
We could dance beneath the Willow trees.
But instead some choose to swim in variety of misery.
We could just decide to change ourselves for the better day by day.
Instead of seeing flaws and letting them slide into the forget box.

pop sound on the recording, but i'd be interested to hear nahko and mftp perform this live with their more natural, intimate vibe.. theyre putting out a new sound for us, its a new season, let go and soak it up, take the power back. Nahko and MFTP have guided me on my journey and will continue to do so.

  • Reply Benjamin ล filigoj February 27, 2020 at 5:13 am

What I've always liked about your music, was that it had a very clean, authentic sound. When I listened to your old songs They made me want to go out in nature. I have never liked pop music and I started listening to yours because I felt like you were an alternativne to that. Sadly, I don't think that is the case any more. I don't like the new sound.

  • Reply IPAsAndSunshine February 27, 2020 at 4:13 pm

Iโ€™m not hardcore in pop. I go after the medicine for the tribal sounds and beautiful words. That being said. This is a beautiful song about personal sin(Greek work for missing your mark, failing at a personal goal). As usual Nahko your words are the source of your inspiration. Again Iโ€™ll say I donโ€™t like pop, for many reasons, but the core of this song like all your medicine is rooted in what your expressing. None of us are perfect, and we will always strive to be better if itโ€™s our goal to be righteous. But sometimes we need hands, and itโ€™s great to see you share this importance to all those out here that follow you for your power of healing through your ideas and mind. Be proud of your gifts, tattoos or not, your not an average guy. You have a testimony of life, and rose above, rose up into fame, and strive to share and help others. 2500 years ago a person like you was called a shepherd of men. Your songs and messages were called psalms, and in the East a man like you was called a Sherpa, a wiseman. The man who gained wisdom and knows how to share it to heal others. In almost all faiths that person, who puts themselve in that place through adversity was called โ€œrighteousโ€ a Hebrew word called Tzedikm is used to express you.
Youโ€™ve surrounded yourself with many more people that could be considered this way, Mike love, Trevor hall, etc. al people sharing a message through experience or wisdom to heal others hearts and minds. Regardless of your purpose or faith your doing the work of the most high, in the fashion needed to redeem a soul, and bring many more home with you. Many men in Abrahamic faiths are given fame by life and abuse it. Become greedy, self absorbed and share that evil into our world, to our children. When I see you and your friends, I see men doing right by god, right by men, and right by themselves. You and your people are truly righteous little brother. In the end your special purposes will be more apparent to you and your life will feel satisfied and fulfilled knowing you loved it and lived it and spent your time sharing your lessons with us all. Be good nahko. Thanks for another good track!
