My Top 5 Chronic Illness Essentials

December 25, 2019

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, I hope you’re doing awesome as you can tell I have been so sick It is just it’s gross that how sick I have been, but I don’t have the flu which is awesome But I wanted to film a video for you guys that has been requested so much It is ridiculous that I haven’t filmed this already and that is my must-haves for spoonie’s I’m gonna tell you guys my five must-haves I will have links to Where I got them where to buy them down in my description section so if you want to get one of these For you that is perfect, but like I said these are my top must-haves things And if you don’t know what a Spoony is I will link it up in my eye card as well as down below I am a Spoony. I have many chronic and invisible illnesses plus a cold on top which is almost deathly Children so my very first must-have is arnica I love arnica gel if you don’t know where to get this. I think I got this at Walmart You can also get at natural health food stores But this works wonders on bruises it works amazing on hurt muscles and joints its pain relief or muscle pain and stiffness swelling from injuries and Bruising and it’s quickly absorbed non-greasy Unscented and works naturally with your body if you know me and have fun following my story for quite some time You know that I really Try not to take medications if I don’t have to and I would rather take the natural route Cut is super important to my pain relief and as you can tell this one’s almost gone But you can find at Walmart health food stores I’m sure they have it on Amazon, but like I said I will link it down below my second must-have for chronic illnesses is a bog mask And if you don’t know what that is it is a mask you wear that helps prevent getting germs spread of course And they are also a lot cuter than wearing like Hospital masks I wear bog masks when I’m going into big places or if I’m going to a doctor’s appointment just where I know there’s gonna be A lot of lot of germs because I do have a sensitive immune system, and I do get sick often This is my second cold in a month and a bog mask just looks like this this is a large bog mask and I was sent these for free to try out and I absolutely love them I have Let’s see I think I have seven bog masks six bog masks. I think I have six And then I have this organic one that is a double valve I will have a video all about fog masks going up really soon So you know what they are and more information on what they do and how they can help? But my second must-have is bog masks. I next must-have is a heating pad or a heated blanket I Get so cold sometimes that a heating pad is the only thing to even make me somewhat warm I also use heating pads and heating blankets when my joints are flaring when I’m having a bad neck Spasm or when I am having nerve pain in my back that is the only thing that can give me some sort of relief My fourth must-have is for those days with I when I just have brain fog And I could just cannot remember anything and believe me. I have those days that is pillowcases whether it’s just a Daily one if it’s a morning an evening one whatever you have to do pill cases are a must for me Just because I am that type of person that can’t remember if I took a certain medication or if I took it this time or this day or They saved my lives sometimes like really they helped me so much and my last must-have is leggings or sweats Spoonies have a lot of Flair days at least I have Flair days. I just got over a nine-day cluster headache, and that was The worst nine days ever it is not my longest cluster headache and Sweats and leggings are just the most comfortable thing especially if my hip is flaring or if I’m having back pain I don’t want any more tightness around those areas and so soft bottoms are my jam leave a comment down below with your one must-have if you were a Spoony and don’t forget to share this video with a friend or family member who is also a chronic illness warrior I would love to have them during the positive pack. I will see you guys in my next video, but until then stay positive bye guys

Arnica!!! Besides that, I would say an AMAZING PILLOW. I have a "My Pillow" for my head and even though I haven't been pregnant in almost 5 years, I still sleep with my Snoogle pregnancy pillow regularly because it gives me support where I need it.

My heating blanket is a must have because when I'm cold (which is 99% of the time during the winter) it makes my joints hurt 10x more (ankylosing spondylitis & Behcet's up in herrre). And I live in yoga pants or leggings haha!

I was recently diagnosed with EDS (eler-danloes syndrome) and wait to see if I have lupus, also have irritable bowl syndrome, limes disease, cat scratch fever, frequent yeast infection in the blood and to top it off chronic depression. Keep in mind tho I'm 22, and can't work or move much for that matter. I have to use a cane to walk bc my joint dislocate very often and I'm not sure what to do. But I do thank you for the tips and will try them out. God bless

i've been sick for over 6 years with no diagnosis and no one has understood me, what i've gone through, or the pain i've felt everyday. i hadn't bothered looking around youtube for videos about chronic illness till today, i'm both saddened and relieved that i'm not alone in this world! new subscriber! oh, i need my heating pad to survive too

Ooh, I'll have to look into the gel/cream! Heating pads are honestly a lifesaver, and I've definitely found organizing my pills helps, even though it's time-consuming. Lots of love from another spoonie!

Arnica gel is amazing for my joints. My hand has the wrost pain amd it takes it away. When its really bad it takes most of it away.

I agree with the vogmask! I also have a plastic bag on me at all times and a ziplock (One for emergencies and one for holding soiled clothes)

Hey wth my yt unsubscribed me from you. Sorry. You rock, glad you’re still making vids. Been sick so I’ve been off yt because of that and some other less pleasant issues which has left me with less time for me. Are you anywhere else online or on social media? I don’t always have time daily for vids because of my temporary living arrangement
