My Chronic Illness Journey

January 28, 2020

Hey everyone! My name is Kiki and welcome to my blog, Chronically Healed. Today I’m going to be talking about my chronic
illness journey. It began when I was a freshman in high school. And I loved going to school, I loved hanging
out with friends, and I was very active and healthy. Until, one day, all of a sudden, I began to
feel very dizzy and nauseous. So I had to stop going to school. I was so sick and my school sent a tutor over to the house to get my schooling done. I was diagnosed with POTS, or, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. I tried many different medications for that but they all made me feel so much worse. So I couldn’t tolerate the medications so I had to stop taking them. So even though my body felt sick all the time, the worst part about having this chronic illness was being socially isolated because I was stuck at home all day and I couldn’t go out and see my friends. So, that was definitely the hardest part about
it. After high school, I started taking online
college classes and I also started experiencing more symptoms like chronic fatigue I spent most of my time listening to music and watching movies. And some there was people who would tell me
that I was lucky that I didn’t have to go to school or go to work. But really I was very jealous of anyone who could who was able
to just do basic chores because I wasn’t able
to Eventually, I graduated college and my parents still took care of me. I ended up finding a holistic doctor who did natural treatments
for POTS patients. And I was also diagnosed with lyme disease. So I finally was starting to feel better and God has just really been healing
not just my body, but my soul and I just feel
so grateful that I get to live this new life,
and that I’m able to drive and go out and make
new friends and I can do chores now, and I also
am able to live on my own I feel like God has
really been giving me this new life and I can’t help
but you know, share it and share his hope and
love and I am so joyful now that I am chronically healed
and I get to live this life now that God has given
to me Thank you for watching!

Curious as to where you live and who you saw, I believe I have that same condition or signs of it, I definitely have autonomic nervous system dysfunction, I also have EDS and severe TMJ issues so our stories aren't the same but I'm trying to find testimonials from people who deal with similar stuff I do that found healing through natural ways and God, really need hope right now

I thought Lyme isn't curable? I still have symptoms even though I took two rounds of antibiotics in 2015 when I contracted Lyme.
