Is Chicken OK To Eat On The Candida Diet

August 13, 2019

Greetings! Greetings! Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand. Author of Candida Crusher and the formulator
of the CanXida range of dietary supplements. I’ve got a question here from a lady in Spain
of all places, and she’s asking me: “Is it okay to eat chicken on the Candida diet?” It is okay to eat chicken. In fact, chicken is a very good food. It’s high in lysine, which is a very important
amino acid. It’s very high in protein in general. It’s got a lot of minerals in it. But here’s the catch: if you eat poultry,
I’d rather you get a free-range chicken, not one of those commercially processed things
in a plastic bag, because those poor chickens get fed unfortunately commercial food, which
contains anti-fungal sprayed all over it, which usually contains some kind of arsenic
in it. It’s not uncommon for many commercial grocers
to actually recycle the chicken droppings back to the birds at least once to extract
protein out of their you know what. It’s awful, but it’s true. Free-range chickens are high quality. They get fed better, and I think the birds
tend to be healthier. You get a better quality meat. Chicken is really good, but don’t get trapped
into just eating chicken breast. It’s also good for you to eat the redder portions
closer to the bone. If you can, maybe eat the chicken livers or
chicken hearts or the organs as well. And don’t forget when you eat chicken, it’s
also good to eat a bit of gristle on the ends of the bone, because that’s going to help
your joints as well. If you just eat meat, it works on your meat. If you eat organs, it works on your organs. If you eat gristle or connective tissue of
animals, it works on your connective tissue. I mean, it’s common sense guys. Come on, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist
to work that out. In the old days, when people ate an animal,
they would eat all the organs. They would eat every part of the animal, apart
from bones, which they’d make tools out of. The hide they’d use for clothing, but all
the parts of the animal were consumed. So don’t be fooled. Chicken is a very good food. There are other kinds of birds you can eat
too; game birds and turkeys and things like that, but chicken meat is excellent to eat. I highly recommend that you eat chicken regularly. I’ve never seen a patient ever with a chicken
meat allergy, but I have seen several people with egg allergies. So I don’t think you’re going to be allergic
to chicken. If you’re a vegan though, however, chicken
is not for you, because chicken is an animal after all. So, to answer the question: “Is it okay to
eat chicken on the Candida diet?” It definitely is okay to eat chicken on the
Candida diet. In fact, I had a really nice chicken stir-fry
dish today. It was beautiful. It had garden vegetables in it. I had brown rice, and I had some free-range
chicken. It was a beautiful dish. I do recommend you eat chicken regularly. Please subscribe if you’re not a subscriber,

Hey Eric! Got your CC book, and I was just wondering, is it ok to stay on the mevy diet long term? I actually particularly enjoy it as a style of eating and seem to be doing just fine on it. Also I know its a loaded question so no worries if you dont want to answer it, but how long do you think digestion takes to heal on this diet when stress and a high carbohydrate diet seemed to be the cause of issue in the first place?
