– [Narrator] Hi, everyone,
welcome to Discovery Natural. Today we are in little sis room, and we are talking about these tiny bumps that you can see on her hair. Keep still, baby. So I’ll focus on it right there, on her forehead, not on her hair. So on her forehead,
you can see these bumps that appear on it, and if you’ve seen any of our other videos
lately, you might have noticed those bumps,
for example, our video on the hair (mumbles). So I’ve been doing a lot of research, how long have you had
these bumps on your head? – Since summer I think. – [Narrator] So since
summer, and that has been for six months, and it goes
and it comes back all the time. What I’ve been doing
is, I’ve been cleaning her scalp really well, and also at night, I’ve been using the witch hazel, and she has the witch hazel right there. Can you show them the witch hazel? We’ve been using witch
hazel to wipe her forehead. – It’s a cucumber. – [Narrator] Yeah, and then I
would apply the tea tree oil, and this is just ordinary tea tree oil. And that seems to work for awhile, but now I think we need something else, and after doing my research, I found out it could be overproduction
of yeast, and other things of that sort, and there was a name for it, and I’ll put it down below,
so that you guys can see it. And when I was searching,
I couldn’t also find information for kids, but
I said let me put a video out there to show our experience. So today is day number? – One. – [Narrator] One, and
we’re going to head off to Target to find this product, and I think you can also
find it in other areas, but we’re going to go to Target, and see if we can find this product. Okay, are you ready to go? – Um hmm. – [Narrator] So we’re at Target now, and this is the product
that we were told to use, and this is what it looks like. It’s Nizoral, and this is the 1% which I think it’s appropriate. It’s an anti-dandruff shampoo. You wanna get that? – So at Target, we bought this medicine for my head, but before that I bought this Lego motorcycle Captain America. We’re going to be using a thin
layer of this on my bumps, and we’re gonna leave
it here for 15 minutes, and then we’ve going to rinse it off. (lively electronic music) I’m going to be doing
this for 10 whole days. Time to wash. (lively electronic music) Because this dries your skin a lot, so you’re gonna need some lotion, and this is the lotion that I’m using. This smells good. I put this one twice a day
in the morning and at night. (slow ethereal flute music) Well, today’s the second day, and I actually think that my bumps are getting a lot, lot better. (slow, dramatic instrumental music) Today is day four. – [Narrator] Yeah, day four. So let’s see if have some improvement. Do you think that there’s improvement? – Yeah, if I look in the mirror, I can barely see any bumps. The mirror is right here. – [Narrator] Yeah, okay let’s see. Let’s do a close-up. (slow dramatic instrumental music) So today is day number seven. As you can see the spots
are going gradually. You can see she only has
them right over here, and what we did was we that we actually starting putting the tea tree oil on her head with the lotion (laughs), and that did help much more,
so it’s going gradually out. I thought it would it would be instant when the bumps would go away, but for now you can see that it has
actually gone away somewhat. (slow, dramatic instrumental music) So it’s finally day number? – 10 – [Narrator] Number 10, and you
can see, let’s get close up, it has mainly disappeared. You can see that it’s not as bad. We do have a few right here, but overall there’s a lot of improvement. What we did was that we
used this as you see, for 10 days, and she
was supposed to use it in the morning and at night,
but sometimes what happened? You missed? – In the morning. – [Narrator] Yeah, she
missed in the morning so we still made sure we
used it at least once a day, and we did see improvement
after we started using this, and we also
used the tea tree oil as a moisturizer on her forehead, and I didn’t dilute it, I just used it straight, like two dots. I just put it right there, and then I also used moisturizer, and
the moisturizer we use is the Bel Nouvo cocoa butter lotion. This is the best
treatment that we’ve seen, and we do hope you guys check it out. – Thank you so much for watching, and remember to subscribe and share. Bye.

Please take her to the dermatologist. Dr. Google really is too powerless for dealing with this. 😉 I wish I'd have gone sooner, I probably wouldn't have gone into full-blown acne. Also the Nizoral you can get OTC is only 1%. Dermatologists usually prescribe the 2% version which is much more effective. Don't leave it on for more than 5 min.! The instructions will say that. I know, because I have SD, seborrheic dermatitis and I use Nizoral 2% for my scalp.

I thought Tea Tree oil was to be diluted before using on the skin or scalp. My daughter get a those bumps too, I use diluted Bragg apple cider vinegar as toner and it works wonder. You daughter has beautiful skin and her hair is gorgeous! Great job mom!

I was getting these bumps on my forehead really bad for about 6 months and couldn't figure out what the source was. I changed my diet, switched up skin care etc. Finally I read an article about dimethicone causing facial texture, acne, and bumps for a lot of people. So I cut all dimethicone out of my skincare. Got the juice beauty hydrating kit to try it out and all those bumps on my forehead went away completely!

this product also helped with my super dry, flaky scalp as well. my scalp was itchy for the gods. and I tell u, upon the 1st use the itching and scales were gone. I mean completely GONE. I used it once after that and didn't need it again. it was 7 months ago, I haven't had that problem since??

I did a whole week drinking milk and eating eggs, I notice i had some tiny bumps on my forehead also. I will try the medicine to see how it works. Do you have any suggestions for dry skin on the face? The skin on my face is really dry and peeling out.

I experienced the same thing found out I was allergic to coconut oil and certain hair products containing it

  • Reply nphowe December 3, 2016 at 3:01 am

I had similar bumps on my forehead when I was Lil Sis' age; it also started in the summer. My older brother's idea was that sweating while playing outside in the summer heat allowed my hair products to seep into my skin. I think my mom just started being very careful about how much product she used, and not applying it too close to the scalp. I'm glad that Lil Sis' skin is clearing up.

  • Reply anncan228 December 5, 2016 at 5:47 am

Both of my daughters (10/12) had this problem, but much worse. It started getting better when we stopped eating so much cheese, I have them drink a lot more water, we started using the same witch hazel as your daughter, and they wash their faces with Shea Moisture African black soap. (I think the biggest problem was that they weren't cleaning their faces as well as they should.)

  • Reply Casey Cleveland December 5, 2016 at 11:26 am

Nizoral is excellent. My daughter has seborrheic dermatitis and she uses that. It keeps it under control.

  • Reply Princess December 5, 2016 at 11:01 pm

Did you try african black soap?

  • Reply Morena Azucar December 6, 2016 at 3:18 am

  • Reply Mia Learned December 10, 2016 at 2:17 am

My Mini used to get these. She washes her face twice a day with cetaphil. She only breaks out now when she does not do her routine. She's not close to puberty yet, but I think I would try this method if the one we are currently using stops working.

  • Reply Yasmin Lopez December 15, 2016 at 2:56 pm

After the ten days were up, did she continue using these products? If not did the bumps come back when she stopped using? I was told not to use it more than ten days. Please respond I'm really having issues with my face.

  • Reply Luvmylocs January 14, 2017 at 6:26 pm

My dermatologist prescribed this for my hair after my beautician burned my hair and scalp. My hair was dry like straw; my scalp was itchy. I used it 3x per week for a number of weeks (can't recall-was in 1999) and it helped stop the itching and healed my scalp so that slowly my hair started to regrow. I never thought to use it for forehead bumps! What a grand idea. You are a very involved concerned Mom!
