How to Deflate Puffy Eyes Fast

August 23, 2019

How to Deflate Puffy Eyes Fast. So you woke up looking like you’ve gone 12
rounds. Here’s how to deflate your puffy peepers,
pronto. You will need Cucumber Cold water Tea bags
Tissue Cold milk Cotton balls Bag of frozen baby peas and ice cubes (optional) (optional). Step 1. Cut two slices of cucumber, place them in
a bowl of ice water for five minutes, and then put one on each eye for 10 minutes. Cucumbers have compounds that soothe, reducing
swelling. Step 2. Dip two tea bags in cold water for one minute,
squeeze them, wrap them in tissue, and place one on each eye for five minutes. The caffeine and tannin in tea are both astringents
that reduces puffiness. Sleeping on two or three pillows keeps fluids
from pooling under your eyes, preventing puffiness before it starts. Step 3. Pour very cold milk onto two cotton balls
and apply them to your eyes for about 15 minutes. Many of the components of milk – such as
lactic acid, vitamins A and D, and proteins –calm swollen skin. Step 4. Gently massage both your upper and lower eyelids
with your fingertips for a few minutes, which will break up the fluids trapped around your
eyes. Just don’t rub, which can make puffiness worse. If puffy eyes are a frequent problem, try
cutting back on salty foods and alcohol; both make you retain fluids. Step 5. Splash your eyes with very cold water several
times, or dunk a washcloth in cold water and place it on your eyes for a few minutes. If you can stand it, put some ice cubes in
the washcloth. The cold helps drain the fluid. Step 6. Grab a bag of frozen baby peas, let it thaw
for several minutes, and put it on your eyes. Those little peas will settle into the nooks
and crannies around your eyes, getting the cold right to the source. Wrap a soft, thin cloth around the plastic
package to protect your skin from the packaging. Did you know Audrey Meadows was considered
too pretty for the role of Alice in The Honeymooners, so she had photos taken with puffy eyes and
no makeup – and won the role!

  • Reply Dahlia Von Stratus April 6, 2012 at 7:22 pm

It happens to me often also, That is caused by allergies. In the early months, there are pollinating plants that are more aggressive than springtime flowers and trees. So your eyes to react to the high concentration of pollen. If you live in a very windy area, you may consider taking a 24-hr non-drowsy allergy medicine at night before you sleep.

  • Reply Dahlia Von Stratus April 6, 2012 at 7:29 pm

Could they be sun burnt, wind burnt, or irritated by the eye drops themselves? Are you drinking the right amount of water EVERY day? Are you wearing any makeup on your lashes or eye area that you could be allergic to? (many people are allergic to black dyes found in mascara and eyeliners) Are you keeping your fingers out of them? Are you wearing contacts? Have you recently changed your saline brand? Are you using the wrong kind of saline? Have you seen an eye doctor? I suggest you make an appt.

I had puffy eyes all the time and one looked fake. It was miserable. So I stopped makeup and it worked. I went back to it and had it again!! I wasn't sure what caused it until I realised my eyelash curler had nickel in it. I threw it out (really cheap) and it never came back

here’s another tip: put two spoons in the freezer for 15 minutes. then, put one on each eye until the spoons become warm. the coolness from the spoon should tighten up the skin and take away puffiness.

well I only cried because my boyfriend just broke up with me because it was a long distance relationship and it was hard for him. I tried not to cry when talking to him but after I went to the bathroom and cried for a long time. my eyes and nose are red and I share a room so how do I even walk in without them noticing I cried ??
