HOME REMEDY – Ginger Lemon Honey Tea Recipe – Cold & Flu Relief I HERBAL TEA for Cold & Cough

October 24, 2019

This homemade herbal tea relieve flu cold
n cough symptoms during rainy or winter season and helps to boost immunity. first, wash fresh ginger thoroughly to remove
any dirt & peel it with a knife now cut 1 inch of ginger root into thin slices. It doesn’t have to be precise, but you want
plenty of surface area to steep and release as much as nice juices as possble while making herbal tea with 1 inch of ginger root, u will be easily
able to make 8 to 10 thin ginger slices like these now take a glass bowl and add all those ginger slices ,. make sure u immediately transfer
the slices once done, heat 1 cup of water, and when it
starts to boil, immediately add boiling water to the bowl. you need the water at rolling
boil, not just hot, for the ginger to steep properly now cover the bowl with lid
let it sit for a 10 minutes, and you should get a lovely pale gold coloured, slightly
cloudy tea At this point, you can strain out the bits
of ginger if you like, but I generally prefer to leave them in. Once it comes to room temperature , its time to add
honey . as per ayurveda, you should never add honey to hot fluids ,as honey becomes
toxic for the body so add honey only when ginger wateris lukewarm
Once done, roll a lemon for quick Vit c. and squeeze the juice into the tea. you can also
add 1 entire lemon if u like Stir well and drink it immediately. As long as you’ve peeled the ginger, everything should sit on the bottom of the bowl , so you can drink it without too much trouble. this quick, simple recipe of ginger tea, is
delicious, warming, and great for dealing with sore throats, colds, & nasal congestion. How Often You Should Do This?
Drink 2-3 cups in the day Why This Works ?

Madam, I usually have lukewarm water, honey and lemon. But, now a days I am studying about fenugreek (methi) seeds. How would you use these ingredients.

I am not diabetic as of now but since my father and mother both are diabetic, ppl say I am more prone to diabetes.

So, I want to stay away from diabetes as much as I can.

Being a doctor what do you think?
