Express file to report no business

November 9, 2019

Hi, I’m Emilie from the Department of
Revenue and I’m here to remind you that the annual and quarter four filing
deadline is tomorrow. Did you know that even if you have no business to report,
you still have to file? You can do that easily with our Express file tool by
going to dor.wa.gov and then scrolling down the page and clicking
Express file. You’ll be taken to an application where you need to enter your
account ID. This is usually your unified business identification number and can
be found on your tax return or any letter from the Department of Revenue.
Once you enter your account ID you’ll be taken to a second screen where you
verify that you have no business, and then you just click submit to file. If
you have questions about filing you can call 1-800-647-7706 or drop a question in the comments below and we will answer them
throughout the day. Thank you!
