Dog Health Treatment & Advice : How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar for Pets

August 15, 2019

Hi, I’m Dr. Aimee Beger. I’m a veterinarian,
and many people use at-home remedies to treat dogs with ear infections, or debris coming
out of the dog’s ear. One common method at home is to use apple cider vinegar. The remedy
is typically made by one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in one cup of warm water, and
to use that as a flush to kind of flush out any debris or objects in your dog’s ear. Here,
we typically don’t recommend that, because it can sometimes be very caustic, or burn
an inflamed or already bleeding ear canal. Your veterinarian would be the best option
to seek the cause of of the ear infection, and also, to do an otoscopic exam, where they
look into the dog’s ear and ensure that the eardrum is intact, and that that the cider
or other cleaner would be safe to use.

yeah, they just want us to go to them and pay them for NOTHING.  I was bringing my cat regularly to a cat vet clinic and trusted them.  During last visit with X-rays, diagnostic tests and physical  they did not find anything wrong with my baby.  Now, nine months later I am mourning the death of my cat who was just so FREAKIN HEALTHY last time they saw him.  They should have educated me on potential asymptomatic life claiming diseases.  Being a veterinary doctor implies also education of pet parents.  Vets are dumb and careless.

Hope this helps someone..My dog had a bump inside her ear that would not go away,Looked like a small tumor. I put brags apple cider vinegar on a paper towel, put some water on that for a mixture..applied to it my dogs ear (inside) for 2 weeks twice a day..morning and night…With the healing of God and the apple cider vinegar its 95% gone. You can barely see it anymore.

Poor video and info. You wasted my time along with your own. If you're gonna do a video on pet health, do a lengthy one with plenty of info or just stay off YT !!!

'How to persuade people not to use Apple Cider Vinegar and instead go to the veterinarian' would have been a better title. Click bait shit.

Ive seen more vets harm animals then I have owners using home remedies. I believe Vets use guess work to treat pets, I can "guess" myself at home and save that 500 dollar paycheck.

This video was completely pointless and misleading
