Corona Virüsü Türkiye’de ve Dünya’da Son Durum

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) emerging in China and spreading around the world can be described as a “pandemic”. WHO previously used the term “epidemic” for Covid-19 epidemic disease. While the number of people who have had coronavirus in the last two months worldwide has exceeded 122 thousand a total of 4 thousand 389 people died. 67 thousand infected people got their health. On the other hand, with the decrease in the number of cases in the city of Wuhan, where the coronavirus is spread all over the world, some businesses, shops and factories were approved to open. What is the difference between pandemic and epidemic? ‘Epidemia’ is a very general concept used to describe any issues that are out of control. In the edical field, when it is seen that a disease is widespread in a region, a society or a group of people, it is accepted that this is an epidemic. ‘Pandemic’ means a geographical epidemic across regions and groups. It is used for diseases that affect a country or the entire world.
