Constantly Itchy Elbows Could It Be Candida?

August 19, 2019

Greetings, Eric Bakker from New Zealand. Thanks for coming back and looking at the
video. Interesting question here today Eric, “I’ve
got a constantly itchy elbow. Could it be candida?” Well, I don’t usually, wouldn’t subscribe
candida to be causing a problem on the elbow. I’d be thinking more about psoriasis maybe
or eczema. Eczema can affect these regions here. This is actually a common spot for psoriasis. My question back to you would be, is the skin
cracked, is it red? What does the skin look like? Is it just itchy without any kind of appearances
and no rashing at all? Could it be contact dermatitis? Could it be some cream or product that you’ve
been applying to yourself? Could it be some clothing that you’re wearing
or perhaps the job that you’ve got? You need to investigate these kind of things. There’s no clear cut answer to why you’ve
got a constantly itchy elbow. Look at the diet. Have you got any food allergies? Are you reacting to in any other sense to
any kind of foods or beverages you’re consuming? Have you got any digestive problems to go
with it? These things really need investigation. I’d be checking around really carefully. I’ve got a feeling it’s either eczema or psoriasis
in my opinion, so you may want to go to Google and have a look at Google, some pictures on
psoriasis and eczema to see if that fits with perhaps what’s happening on the elbow, because
it sounds a little bit like psoriasis. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for tuning in.
