Can Candida Return After Treatment?

August 18, 2019

Greetings! Eric Bakker, New Zealand naturopath. Author of Candida Crusher. Formulator of the CanXida range of products. I’ve got a question here from a lady in Florida-a
lady called Linda Callahan. And Linda’s asking me: “Can Candida return
after treatment?” Well Linda, let me answer you that question. That’s a great question. I hear this question quite a lot from patients
that I’ve seen over the years. Any condition can return at any time. It really depends on you. If you want a really sincere answer to this
question, then my reply is try and understand the causes of why you got this Candida imbalance
in the first place. If you correct the causes and try not to continuate
those causes. If you try and understand the connection between
cause and effect, stop those causes in the future, there’s a big chance you won’t get
Candida coming back. But unfortunately about half the people I’ve
seen over the years come back over time with some kind of recurrence of symptoms. Then when we talk to them, we find that the
reason why this happened, is because they slowly slid back into these lifestyle and
dietary habits that contributed to the yeast imbalance in the first place. Does that make any sense? As I’ve said before, common sense is so rare
these days. It should be seen as a superpower. There’s a lot of people that haven’t got common
sense. They think you can drink beer and eat pizzas
all day and then stop that, go on a detox or vegan diet for six months, clean everything
up and then go back to that kind of lifestyle again. It’s just not going to happen. You need to keep on the straight and narrow. The whole idea of my YouTube channel is to
get people to focus on the causes and to hopefully see the connection to make the necessary changes
required to really improve their health, and then the intelligent ones will not go back
and regress. They will not get a continuation of their
symptoms. They will not get manifestation of Candida
or gut issues, and their health will remain good. So, that’s hopefully a reply to your question,
Linda. You will not get Candida again provided you
don’t do what you did that started it in the first place. Now, you may for example have been on several
rounds of antibiotics. You may have been on fluconazole for a women’s
yeast infection. You may have been on the pill. You may have been drinking wine four or five
times a night. You may have had a high stress job or a crappy
relationship. I don’t really know your case or your situation,
but my advice to you would be to understand the events that led to the contribution of
you developing Candida infection. That’s the intelligent approach. That’s going to stop it from happening in
the future. Check out my CanXida range of products, Linda,
because judging by your email, I’m not going to tell folks about what you’ve written here,
but it sounds like you’ve got a pretty bad case of a gut problem, too, and a vaginal
infection. You’ve bought my book, which is good, but
now check out chapter five on women’s yeast infections and check out the CanXida range
of products because that’s going to help you recover quite fast. I don’t think it’s a really difficult case
here. I think you’re going to recover pretty quick. So thanks for your email, and I hope that
gives you a response. Don’t forget to click on the link if you haven’t
got my report, and thanks for tuning in.

If your system is already weakend, it may be really just a half glass of wine at a birthday to trigger candida overgrowth again, this happens to some people ( with a long time chronic candida ), not to others…I think it depends on the person, unfortunately. Diet is fundamental but in my opinion diet isn't a cure, if there's any, but a treatment like dr Bakker says in the title. In my case, my sliding hiatal hernia over the years has weakend my ileoceval valve; the digested food in the big intestine backs up into the small intenstine. This then feeds your candida and contributes to a gut imbalance.
Applied kinesiology has lessened my symptoms, in particular the chronic phlegm in the back of my throat.

Hi Eric. Many thanks for all these informative videos! They are so great and helpful!
Having been diagnosed with candida krusei (finally after 4 years) I am currently following the Candida Cleanse programme (I've bought the book), but is there an additional treatment I should follow?

Hi doctor! I have only been on a candida diet for a couple of months now with after confirmation from the test on your site-it took years to figure out the issue so thanks for everything you do. After detoxing my eczema and acne cleared-after a few weeks eczema appeared on calfs and although a lot of my bloat has subsided it's still more of an issue after eating or bowl movement. I am pretty much still on the meat eggs yogurt phase so not sure about the regression. Any thoughts or suggestions??

Dear Dr Bakker. I have bought your book, been following the treatment and dietary recommendation with great care, and taking canxida remove. Unfortunately the latest shipment of canxida is stuck at the custom in Milan, with no guarantee it will be ultimately shipped to my address. I have been issued full refund for the products by canxida health. The biggest problem however is how to continue treatment. What antimicrobial do you recommend that I will be able to find here in Italy to substitute canxida remove? Here, herbalists provide a lot of extracts, such as propolis extract, which is widely recommended for gut bacterial infections. Shall I take propolis? alternate different antimicrobial substances? I have IBS type C with a lot of bloating and no pain. The stool test diagnosed citrobacter freundii.
    thank you

Hi Dr B. Im following your candida diet, and started with a Throne brand undecylenic acid. I before the cleanse felt like i had bricks in my stomach after eating and now its the same but worse because i have more gas. I have now taking fruit out of my diet thinking this might be the reason, some better but still same feeling after I eat and noticeable more gas also. I didnt read anything about this in your Ebook but was hoping you could help. Im not taking anything other then the Throne U acid and buffered vitamin C. Is this normal and do you think the cleanse is working? And any other recommendations?

I know someone who had candida years ago, got rid of it, and every few months he does a candida diet and treatment as for prevention. Seems like a good idea

I have not read your book but I have read others. I found your website after reading Lauren's blog on empower sustenance. I am on a some chinese herbs from my natural path and I will soon be ending them. I saw one of your you tube videos that I should continue treatment. I do want to follow your candida program. I will know purchase your book. I actually did not know if I would be able to read 718 pages by the time I need the supplements. How should I transfer my treatment to your program? Also, I have adrenal issues. You should do a You Tube on adrenals and if candida is related.

I have another question, do I continue to take other supplements (multi vitamin, fish oil, etc.) while I am on your program? Thank you.
