Blastocystis Hominis Treatment: Natural Treatment For Blastocystis Hominis

August 15, 2019

Greetings. It’s New Zealand naturopath, Eric
Bakker, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of the Canxida range of dietary supplements.
Let’s talk about the natural treatment of Blastocystis hominis.
So blasto, being a parasite, I trust you’ve checked out my other videos so far on blasto.
The treatment for blasto is not unlike the treatment for Candida. I’ve discovered that
blasto loves sugar. In fact, I think it loves it even more than Candida loves sugar. And
this is what confuses a lot of people. Many people who read my Candida Crusher book
or who’ve read online about yeast infections, they may, in fact, have a blasto infection.
They may have a Dientamoeba fragilis infection, Entamoeba histolytica; there are many different
kinds of parasites out there. And a lot of these parasites have one thing in common,
well, a couple of things in common. They need feeding. They produce waste. They get attacked
by the immune system, creating chemicals that affect the body peripherally. They compete
with each other. They have these wars going on internally. A little bit like the Catholics,
Muslims and all these religious people that have fights all the time. It’s a little bit
like what happens internally with us. We have these inner wars going on.
I want you to try to understand that you shouldn’t really try to compartmentalize diseases too
much and give everything separate treatments. If you have a look at the work I’ve written
on yeast infections, if you follow that quite carefully, you’re going to have a fantastic
outcome for blasto as well. The blasto treatment, as I mentioned, is not unlike Candida treatment.
You need to really take the sugars, the refined starches, and the junky foods out of the diet.
I can’t help you if you maintain alcohol consumption, even if you drink one glass of beer a week
or even a month. So if you’re drinking alcohol, you’ve got a gut problem, and you don’t want
to stop, hit the kill switch right now on this video because I don’t want to help you.
I’m not interested in helping you. If you’re sincere and you want to overcome this problem,
you will stop drinking alcohol for at least three to six months while we work on your
gut. That’s number one for natural treatment. You cannot drink alcohol in any shape or form
until your gut comes right. You must stop for a considerable period of
time all sorts of sweet foods, confectionary, ice cream, most breads need to go because
they’re too refined for the gut. Those starches are great fodder for lots of different kinds
of bad bugs as well as parasites in the body. So you need to get rid of these kinds of foods
from your diet. A whole foods diet is the best. You will have heard of the SCD, the
specific carbohydrate diet. Donna Gates’ work on Body Ecology. There are so many different
books out there now that you can draw parallels from. They’re all very healthy, clean dietary
approaches. You can pick any one of these. They’re all going to work to a reasonable
extent with eradicating blasto as well as Candida.
It’s all about discipline, folks, it’s all about eating the right kind of foods, avoiding
the crap that you know to avoid, exercising regularly, getting plenty of rest and sleep.
Again, I don’t know how many times I’ve told you, there’s no rocket science behind this.
It’s common sense. I tend to grow a lot of my own vegetables
and fruits. A lot of the green foods I eat come straight out of the garden, and I think
it’s a really nice thing if you can grow some of your own foods. You’d be more motivated
to eat healthy if you do that. Blasto doesn’t like lots of vegetables, for example. Especially,
things like broccoli and spinach. Those are good foods. Beans, celery, kale, steamed kale
is a really good food. There are many foods you can eat that discourage blasto infection,
and there are many foods you can eat that encourage it.
So the stronger your gut symptoms, the more careful you’ve got to be with your diet. But
I don’t want you making changes too quick. I want you making changes more slowly. I’ve
had too many patients contact me getting into really big problems when they did a very strong
about turn with their diet within a week. They stopped eating all the junk food and
they started trying to eat everything perfect, and they did that all within a week, and then
ended up feeling like crap. So you can’t do that. You need to have a slow transition from
junk into a healthy way of living. Because remember, you’ve got to change the environment
of the gut, and that can take a few weeks or a few months for you to achieve that. It’s
not going to happen overnight. I’m making another video after this on the
futility and how stupid it is to take antibiotics for blasto. What a waste of time it is to
take drugs like metronidazole. I think we call it Flagyl. There are many different kinds
of pharmaceutical drugs you can take for blasto. But the problem is they create more problems
more than anything does. So going down the drug pathway, taking something to kill, a
strong antibiotic is going to have a very bad effect on a lot of the beneficial bacteria
and will only delay your recovery. So it’s certainly not a good approach.
Most of the patients I’ve had over the years with chronic blasto infections have been to
doctors for 2, 5 or 10 years. They’ve had 10, 20, 30 rounds of antibiotics. They’ve
gone from the bottom end up to the top shelf of the drugs, and they still didn’t work.
And then they came to me. In some cases, it took a year for them to come right because
we had to repair all the damage to their gut membrane that occurred. Their gut became increasingly
permeable and leaky with each successive round of antibiotics. It’s just like giving people
more credit and more credit until they eventually hang themselves because they can’t pay it
back anymore. Antibiotics are not the way to go.
Natural treatment is something I’ve been involved in now for nearly 30 years. I’ve built my
reputation on Candida, but also on parasites with patients. I’ve worked with parasites
now for a long time. With many different kinds of patients, thousands of patients, all kinds
of different conditions. But the common thread is everyone’s always asked me, “Eric, what’s
the best possible natural product I can take to really nail this infection, to get rid
of it once and for all?” What I’ve done I’d say since the 80s and 90s, I’ve used
all sorts of natural products. I’ve got a whole range of liquid herbs just outside the
door here. I’ve got a whole rack of about 45 different herbs I use. They’re pretty strong
tasting, though, and a lot of people don’t like liquid herbs. But I’ve studied herbal
medicine quite well, so I’m pretty well up to date with all the best herbs for the gut.
I’ve tried all sorts of tablets with people and all sorts of capsules. I’ve tried all
sorts of teas on people, so I’ve pretty much worked out what works and what doesn’t work
for most. And whether we’re dealing with children, men and women, all age groups, and this is
one of reasons why I’ve created the Canxida range of dietary supplements. Because I got
sick and tired of very average results with people. I wanted something that was going
to work time and time again. Every time I gave someone something in the past, it was
either “Was it going to work or wasn’t it going to work. Did it have a good broad spectrum
ability to wipe out all kinds of things or is it only going to work on a few types of
pathogens?” Nearly all products I’ve used just weren’t
broad spectrum enough. They didn’t have either the strength or the ability to wipe out a
whole range of pathogens and inhibit the reproduction of yeasts, parasite, and bad bacteria at the
same time. And that’s why I created Canxida, Canxida Remove and Canxida Restore. I’ll write
the domain name on paper and I want you to go and check out this website. It took me
a long time to work out the right combination of things to use and I think I really nailed
it now. I don’t really care what you’re currently
using. You could be using a capsule that you bought online or you got from your doctor
or your naturopath. If you’re not getting the outcome that you’re looking for, I want
you to try this range. So there it is there. so go to that site. I’ll just
hold it up there for a few more seconds. Go to that website and currently, there are two
products that I’ve created. I’ve got a few more in the pipeline, but they’re going to
take a bit of time to make. The first product I created was called Canxida
Remove. We’ve had a lot of hassles getting our second batch made because it’s a very,
very difficult product to make. I’ve had to work with various kinds of manufacturers because
one couldn’t do this and one couldn’t do that. I’ve got quite high standards when it comes
to manufacturing a product and in particular, the raw material. Because I’ve worked in the
industry for so long, I know all the raw material suppliers. So I’ve got quite strict criteria
as to the grade and the strength of the herbal medicines that I want to use in this product.
Many companies that have wanted to work with me, wanted to just create shortcuts and to
put all sorts of junk in there that I wasn’t interested in. So Canxida Remove, in my opinion,
there’s nothing like it currently anywhere online. You will not get anything like Canxida
Remove. This targets all of the parasites as far as I’m concerned. I’ve had outcomes
that have really, really blown me away. So I’ve had patients on this Canxida Remove tablet
for a couple of months and completed stool tests pre and post and seen amazing outcomes
and huge reductions. But the interesting thing is, I haven’t seen huge reductions of the
beneficial bacteria, so I’m very confident in saying to you that by taking the Canxida
Remove, you’re not going to wipe out all the lactobacillus species.
It’s a funny sort of greeny sort of browny tablet, and you start by taking one per day.
Then you take two per day, and you can take up to three per day or even more. What you’re
going to find is by starting slow and building up to about three a day with chronic infections,
you should start noticing a change within a week. Some people notice it within 24 hours.
Most patients stay on the range anywhere from one up to three or four months.
And Canxida Restore is a probiotic enzyme combination. I’ve got seven enzymes in there
and six probiotics. I had a really good think about the best types of enzymes and probiotics
to use, so that product works really well by increasing the ability of the digestive
system to work, thereby, favorably altering the pH of the gut to destroy pathogens. It
increases uptake of nutrients. And the probiotics allow, again, the restoration of a badly damaged
gut. They allow the repair of the leaky membrane, and they build up poor levels of beneficials
that have been hammered by the antibiotics. If you’re eating commercial grade chicken,
you’re having antibiotics. If you’re eating commercial meats, you’re eating antibiotics.
Many patients I’ve seen have had some kind of antibiotic. And even if they haven’t had
any antibiotics, they will generally show lower levels of beneficials if they’ve been
sick for some time. I used to give probiotics separately from enzymes, but now I tend to
give them together. The other thing I don’t like doing is giving
prebiotics in with my probiotics. Because I found with SIBO, small intestinal bacterial
overgrowth patients, they can get quite sick. In some cases, they can get quite headachy
and spaced out and get gut aches from giving them inulin or FOS along with probiotics.
So I tend to encourage that as a food separately from the supplement.
The Canxida Remove works by eradicating and inhibiting reproduction, and the Restore helps
to rebuild the gut back up again. Both of those products are available at
in a pack. You can actually get the pair of them in a pack. They work quite well. Try
to get the pack if you can. And also try to get a couple of containers so you can stay
on this range for several months. We’ve had such amazing feedback on this product range
so far that it’s really exceeded my expectations, so I’m very pleased. But it doesn’t stop there.
I’m going to continually reformulate, reformulate, and reformulate these products until I get
the best possible products that I can make. And that comes through just more research
into bugs like blasto and Entamoeba and bugs like that.
I hope that’s given you some good information today on the natural treatment. So remember,
the diet has to be good. The lifestyle has to be conducive. You have to really understand
the link between relaxation and stress and the immune system, and a natural treatment
supplementation is very important. It’s the icing on the cake. By taking a couple of quality
supplements along with the right diet, you’re going to have a really high chance of eradicating
blasto in a very short period of time. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel and
I hope you’ve clicked on and downloaded the report. Otherwise, you can get my report from
other blasto videos that I’ve done. Don’t forget to check out, good
information, and also Thanks so much for tuning in.

    Hi Eric,

Am currently on a strict candida diet to cure blasto. I've also purchased 3 bottles of canxida remove and canxida restore. I've had blasto for almost a year. How many tablets of each should i take daily? I'm eating zero sugar- no fruit, no grains, no starchy vegetables. Is 1 black coffee per day going to be counteractive to removing blasto? Excited to see the results of canxida and to feel good again! Also, would colonic irrigation be helpful?

Can this be used on a child? 6 year old grandson diagnosed with Blastocystis hominis and Candida. We want to treat him naturally and not with toxic pharmaceuticals. Will CandXida work and how to take it?

  • Reply Beth Grose April 15, 2016 at 12:09 pm

One other question. IF one person has blastocystis hominis such as a child, do you test all the other family members or assume they all have it and treat the whole family?

So glad I found your videos after suffering several months chronically from Blasto and Fragilis and only eating veges or salads with chicken breast or fresh salmon. No sugars, No carbs. Lost 7kg so far! Have ordered the CanXida Remove X 3 and 3 X the Recover and paid a number of days ago but have not received a confirmation of my order even though the order was accepted and confirmed. Am now concerned having not had that confirmation. Please assure me 🙂

Hello! I'm reading a lot just now about this problem that I think to have from more than two years (the first I discovered it). Not great manifestations probably thanks to my good (italian) diet…a little abdomen pain, a little problem with digestion, but while I'm reading I'm finding new signs that can affect me. I've bought canxida. I hope could be the good way. I'm listening for the second time your video to better understand. How many tablets daily it's better to take? one? two? I will keep you up to date the situation. I've seen that this problem is underestimated a lot from italian doctors… Thank you for now.. 🙂

Hi Eric, An update on your CanXida Remove and Restore. Received three bottles of each shortly after I spoke to you last time.  a quarter way through my final bottles of each, Quality of life so much better in last few weeks, have been able to function daily as opposed to not functioning at all.  I know the little blighters are still there as my fourth test confirmed it and I notice that if I deviate at all from my restricted diet by adding anything to it to try(because I am feeling so much better), then back come the stomach cramps, low back aches and headaches.  Will the CanXida remove these parasites, or only keep the symptoms at bay?  They are certainly doing the latter but I would really like them gone. Your advice please?

For treating blastocystis hominis, do you recommend taking the Canxida remove & Canxida restore AS WELL AS: Canxida Rebuild? In this video you have only mentioned remove & restore. Which should I purchase? I live nearby Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You mentioned avoiding sugars/sweets (but not fruit). What do you mean by avoiding carbs, do you mean I can't eat bread at all?

In order to treat blastocystis hominis, how important is it to cut out refined grains? I am currently consuming the remove, restore, rebuild supplements daily. I am significantly reducing my intake of sugar. However, I have not cut down on refined grains. It is difficult for me to cut out refined grains. Also, I do not drink alcohol. Do you think that I could successfully treat Blastocystis Hominis using my present scheme?

  • Reply Tom White November 14, 2016 at 4:45 pm

Hello Eric. I have purchased your book and started reading it. In 2013, a stool test showed that I have blasto and I still have most of the same digestive challenges today. So I'm fairly confident I've still got blasto. If I follow the dietary and lifestyle advice in your candida crusher book, will I create the necessary foundations needed to help my body eliminate blasto, as well as any underlying candida or fungal issues that I may have? I know that I will need anti-parasite supplements to eliminate blasto, but as far as the diet and lifestyle changes that I need to make, do you honestly feel that the advice in candida crusher is equally valid and applicable to blasto patients?

Hi Eric, I am a bit confused on the correct protocol for blastocystis hominis. In your video "Natural Treatment for blastocystis hominis you say: "Start by taking 1/day, then you take 2/day and you can take up to 3/day
or even more.  What you are going to find is by starting slow and
building up to 3/day with chronic infections, you should start noticing a
change within a week." So how quickly do I increase to 3 a day? Over a period of a week? Also, in reading the below comments I see people take remove and restore simultaniously. I did not see this recommended in the above video. I was going to follow the restore after I finished the remove. Is that ok too? I live in Mexico and just ordered 2 bottles of the remove and would like to start with the remove. Thank you.

i HAVE HAD Blastocystis Hominis twice and eventually my story went from the Townsville Hospital, Dr John Masson, who sent an inquiry to Professor Barry Marshall [ who won the Nobel Prize for discovering the right treatment for stomach ulcers which he discovered are caused by helicobacter pylori bacterium] at Trimed in Perth. He sent me NITAZOXANIDE, 120 caps. The treatment is 2/day for 30 days. I used 60 caps for 30 days and was completely cured. It will probably work in 14 days but it's better to be safe and take for 30 days. I started taking these caps one Saturday and by the Tuesday when I had a meeting at Townsville University with Prof Rick Spear, a large blister on my right index finger had gone down leaving a brown stain. I was in fact being cleared of blasto at this stage – the blister on my finger was a true indicator as it turned out. Others have told me blasto caused blisters on the chest. I had also taken with me, a specialist who had come all the way from Melbourne to see me about my research on blasto. Rick showed us his research on blasto – he had deliberately swallowed blasto and we could see these little C shaped protozoa attached to his intestinal wall. He swallowed a capsule camera and it was sending images back to his laptop as it traveled thru his intestinal tract. I can't remember how he cleared the blasto but I was able to inform him that the nitazoxanide worked perfectly for me. Since then it has worked for everyone I have recommended it for.
Until then I had read all sorts of weird and wonderful cures, some involving taking 2 or 3 antibiotics, which made people pretty sick. A year or so later I got blasto again due to playing golf at another golf course using " TREATED SEWAGE EFFLUENT" to water the grass. I used the rest of the capsules, 60, over 30 days and again was completely cured and I have not been on any golf course since. This should be a wide spread warning to golfers – DON'T PLAY GOLF ON ANY COURSE USING TREATED SEWAGE EFFLUENT! NO SEWAGE EFFLUENT IS SAFE . The only way I have been told about is heating to at least 80 deg centigrade. Cost would be prohibitive for a golf course. I don't believe chlorine or chlorine dioxide can be trusted nor membrane filters, which only needed one pin hole to cause failure. One person in a family can infect the rest of the family by simply handing someone a piece of bread or fruit. This infection can cause such a problem that one man told me he considered suicide. Contact Trimed in Perth Australia. Your GP can probably give you a script for it by now on the PBS scheme.
Anyone with blasto can get safely cleared by taking NITAZOXANIDE for 30 days. I have done it twice with no side effects.

Also I can't stress this enough – DO NOT take the antibiotic 'Metronidazole' even if recommended by your GP. The parasite will ease off at first but come back hard later.

Hello Dr Bakker. In your honest experience, is it possible for a person who has a blasto infection and dysbiosis to fully heal and recover while living with other family members who may have the same or similar infections? I am concerned about possibly becoming reinfected while I am taking Canxida Remove because I think my family members may have the same or similar infections. I tested positive for a blasto infection but my other family members have never been tested. What is the best way for me to maximise my chances of a successful recovery in this situation? Can you please kindly post a video on this topic?

    Hey Eric!

I’ve been using Canxida remove for two months right now: I first bought one bottle of Candida remove and then a 9 pack with canxida remove, canxida rebuild and canxida restore. How do I use these more effectively? Should I take all of them simultaneously (each 3 times a day) or should I first finish all the canxida remove bottles then all the canxida rebuild bottles then all the canxida restore bottles? For the moment I have finished 1,5 (out of 4) canxida remove bottles. Hope to hear from you!

Wonderful advice. Thank you so much for providing a natural perspective on this. I've had a test come back positive and am looking for alternative options. The allopathic approach is to just write an antibiotic script and send you on your merry way…

Hi Dr Bakker I’ve been prescribed paromomycin to kill my blasto. I’ve been told it’s a new and safe drug and only targets the bad bugs. Is it safe? Please let me know your opinion?

My poor dad has had blasto for two years and nothing has worked. I am trying to order the remove, restore and rebuild for him but you're out of stock on the restore and rebuild. Any chance they will be available soon?

I wonder if there is any person here who have got rid of Blastocystis Hominis just with the help of proper diet and without the use of antibiotics?

I agree with the diet changes. But triple therapy is the only 90-100% chance of knocking the blasto bug. Why? Because the medical world has no idea how this bugs really works. Most will flat out deny its symptomatic. 3 months of low sugar diet and getting microbiome in as good shape as u can; blast it with the triple therapy, then 6 months repairing the damage the cure has done. It's a terrible thing to go through, but people suffer for YEARS and get short success with one type of antimicrobials (usually flagyl) to only relapse. There are 14 variants of the blasto bug (there could be more) that's why triple therapy works, it covers all bases. Its just sucks its expensive and not available everywhere.

After failed antibiotic treatment, your information on restricting sugar and alcohol consumption seem very helpful. Will try your product!

Dear Eric, I would like to know your opinion on 100% natural turpentine (resino de pino in Spanish). Using the terpentine, I saw the parasites in my digestion after going to the toilet. It also boosted my wellbeing, so it seemed to work good.

I don't drink hard liquor, beer, or wine at all, however I do consume kombucha which contains alcohol, is this also not okay?
Many people like me with stomach problems consume kombucha and fermented foods for the probiotics, could you explain exactly how alcohol harms the microbiome?

Thank you for this!! You’re one of the (very) few voices out there on Blasto. Especially on healing it naturally!

Hello…we just got the three pack of Remove, Rebuild and Restore. In this video, it doesn't mention Rebuild, do we take this at the same time as the other two?

Erik, I have started Canxida Remove and Canxida Restore a few weeks ago and have been following the autoimmune paleo diet for a while for my Hashimotos thyroiditis, so I've cut out sugar, alcohol, and most starches. My question is: I have been taking HCL tablets for my Hashimotos. Many of us with Hashimotos don't produce enough (or any) HCL, which contributes to our digestive problems. Can I continue to take HCL tablets while on Canxida?
