Where do you get the fiber? Chia and berries or your fiber formula?

  • Reply Ti Lo July 18, 2016 at 1:28 am

    Thanks for this!
So you don't buy store probiotics, buy your prebiotics. And you eat cultured foods or make them? Like saurkraut or coconut kefir?
Don't you pour the capsule into the coconut yogurt from probiotics you buy? Saw a recipe somewhere a while back. Or there is some sort of kefir starter. I think my gut flora is weak because of coffee, I've reduced how much I drink, and drinking apple cider vinegar.

I love eating alot of fresh raw sauerkraut to increase my beneficial bacteria in my colon.Almost all the sauerkraut sold in supermarkets are pasteurized with preservatives added to maintain freshness. They are dead and useless with no benefit for the colon. They have to say fresh and raw on the label with nothing but cabbage ,other veggies added and salt period in the ingredients list..The other good reason to eat sauerkraut is its made of cabbage which is very good for the colon but it is almost impossible to digest eating it raw unless its cooked or fermented. .

The BEST Probiotic in the market is Syntol AMD–bar none! It's made b a company name Arthur Andrew Medical based in Arizona. They use spore germination instead of using live cultures. Anyone interested can contact the company or just go to their website and learn more about their products. Up front–I'm not affiliated with this company at all. I like sharing information because their products works. My family and I have and are using Neprinol AFD and we've trusted the efficacy and it's health promoting aspect. After one month of using 3-capsules daily, I had my cholesterol tested without even fasting. The results is nothing short of amazing! Cholesterol dropped from 262 to 162, Triglyceride down from 630 to 102; LDL dropped; HDL improved. And my diet remained the same. There's a website that have done research on Neprinol AFD proving the many benefits it offers.

I also use Markus's Wild Force Green Formula, and I love it this stuff. There's a total of 46 wild, hand crafted and organic greens in one bottle, and simply the best way for me to get all my greens with my smoothie. Anyway, just FYI to those who are into the healthy lifestyle. 😉

Correction: Near the end, James Sloane says prebiotics are good for short term issues, he meant to say "Pro-biotics" for short term use to overwhelm the bad bacteria with good ones and "Pre-biotics" for long term benefits

Hello Markus, I recently purchased a probiotic from a health foods store from "Garden of Life" it was the kids Raw probiotic and it says it's dairy free, vegetarian, and gluten free, but it doesn't say it's VEGAN. Furthermore, I looked into the ingredients and contains a probiotic called "Lactobacillus" which could be derived from dairy or milk sources. What probiotic should I purchase that is Certified Vegan?

  • Reply Decowood March 31, 2017 at 12:22 am

Markus, is it true that you should not mix an antibiotic with a probiotic with the example of mixing manuka honey and milk kefir for a child who refuses to eat sour kefir ? Does the result lessen potency or even effectiveness?

As a culinary rule of thumb a least one teaspoon of probiotic liquid is added to each recipe and the serving is at least 50 percent organic raw whole foods for further support of your immune system and digestive terrain health . Leafy greens at every serving and organic first choice in season and from your garden or organically locally produced . Holistic Chef Barry Anderson

False on the enzymes, they are part of the exocrine system, you cannot shut down your bodies production of enzymes by taking supplemental enzymes, just like your body does not shut down making tears because you put water in your eyes, or your mouth doesn't stop making salvia because you drink water

What about probiotic enemas? Shouldn't that be by far the most effective way for both flushing out the unwanted strains and repopulating the colon at the same time?
Put em straight where they belong I say! 😀

  • Reply radiojoehead August 11, 2018 at 8:49 am

what about Edward Howell questions answers he says when asked can raw food be source of enzymes.
Howell says NO, raw food can't replace massive loss of enzymes from eating cooked food.
    he goes on to say
the only answer is you have to take supplement plant and fungal enzymes with each meal capsules should be opened sprinkled on food. he says pancreatic animal source enzymes are no good because they enteric coated only release after pass stomach in small intestine , he says by that time hour bodies already used its own enzymes.

but he says no raw food is not source of enzymes and raw foods only have enough to digest 20-60% of itself. he's says answer is you have supplement with plant enzymes each meal.

do you and James believe Edward Howell is wrong??

is non pasteurized sauerkraut sufficient for good bacteria rebuild 100 trillion good bacteria in gut where 85% immune system is and all enzymes lipase, protease, amylase and all other enzymes???

another site says even if you recommend the best probiotic in the world, there's no way for them to stick and colonize if the GLYCOCALYX is eroded. Dr skilton explained. to restore a healthier micro environment in these cases you need to leverage the unique characteristics of SACHHAROMYCES BOULARDII, an antibiotic resistant , probiotic yeast originally isolated from lychee fruit in Indochina,. Though not a true commensal organism, S. BOULARDII
is a POTENT INDUCER of GLYCOCALYX production and igA secretion

is 250mg s.BOULARDII required for about four weeks to rebuild GLYCOCALYX otherwise probiotics will NOT stick and Colonize to gut to rebuild immune system???

what do you and James think about gut microbiome tests? waste ??

  • Reply Eduardo Salcedo Sr: August 19, 2018 at 11:13 pm

Subscribed Subscribed Subscribed!!! I have never seen a video like this one I have learn so much from James videos that I think my doctors are idiots. I started making Kefir and started eating fermented foods and eating micro greens a month ago and I'm begining to feel much better

  • Reply Jeff Boelter August 24, 2018 at 6:53 am

I know I'm a couple years late, but, thanks for the Kefir suggestion. I've been cold pressing kale, spinach, carrotts, celery, oranges, watermelon for a year or so, with 1 protein meal, beef, or chicken and 2 scoops of moringa powder daily, but I still feel sluggish all the time. I'm adding kefir to my diet now. Ive also eliminated high fructose corn syrup from my diet.

what about Raymond Francis says one antibiotic wipes out gut microbiome forever and you never get back. all you can do is compensate he sells probiotic supplement and many others say you have to take a probiotics supplements
Swanson sells two probiotics supplements one 16 strains with 50 billion each strain and other 26 strains each strain 1 billion. considering 85% immune system is 100 trillion good bacteria in gut. is it guarantee that fermented foods like non pasteurized organic sauerkraut and other fermented foods will really rebuild 100 trillion good bacteria??

most sites including jonbarron have told me short list saying sauerkraut only has these strains…it's missing many critical strains. you have to take a probiotics supplement everyday to recolonize 100 trillion good bacteria immune system and to keep it.

what do you think YouTube microbiologist Kiran kirshnan saying fermented foods are not probiotics they're only nutrients and he tested sauerkraut, kimchi, ect they do not colonize gut
    he sells something called megasporebiotic

In Nature gaining healthy weight is what it's all about!! But since humans are mostly addicts then the amazing ability to gain healthy weight(absorb nutrients) is not desired, but for every other animal it is highly desired since they can have time to chill and not forage for food all the time. Then of course there is unhealthy weight gain which is another thing. Now if U are a human that wants to eat for maximum health-efficiency and live as long as possible in excellent health then eating as little as possible is a very good thing and thats why east healthy weight gain is the thing to do. Basically, Maximum Micro-nutrients, Vits, Mins, all Phytochemicals, etc etc and then Minimum macro-nutrients, Carbs, Protein, Fat, that is the way of Max Health and Longevity.
