    You can cut up the ginger into pieces and simmer it on top of stove till it is tender.Then you can add honey to it or whatever you use and serve it up in an cup or mug.

    I don't strain the tea I eat the chunks of ginger. Yes the flavor is strong but why would I throw it away with all these health benefits. I add craisins to the tea as well.

    why would you direct people to use ginger powder if fresh ginger is available? i'm not trying to be an ass,i'm just curious.i enjoy a glass of ginger tea most nights before bed.i have used ginger tea bags,powder ginger and fresh ginger and in my opinion there is little comparison to fresh ginger…

    FYI,another healthy and tasty addition to ginger tea is fresh orange juice.i simmer thinly sliced ginger root for about ten minutes,then combine the ginger tea with the juice from one small orange.(squeeze it over strainer if the orange seeds bother you).i am sipping one as we speak….well,as i speak….i mean as i type.

    Ginger helped me to loose body fat I was 30% body fat now after 7 month only used ginger for 2 month my body fat is 10% and more muscle mass

    I love ginger tea, simply made with hot water, honey and lots finely milled ginger. 2 to 3 X a day. it is anti-inflammatory, helps with coughing losing the phlegm. Its also excellent for circulation, to prevent headaches, it lowers cholesterol and relieves stress. I do Love ginger.
