November 10, 2019

After its reported Richard Bacon has been placed in a medicy induced coma, the presenter’s tweets on his pneumonia diagnoses have been deleted  On Thursday, Richard, 42, had tweeted a picture of himself hooked up to medical machines in a hospital bed as he hailed the NHS and blasted the American healthcare system  “Thank God I got ill in Britain (actuy on the way to Britain, was taken off the plane in a wheelchair),” he wrote.”F**k the ideology driven politicians who’ve messed up America’s healthcare system Viva the NHS. Happy 70th.”  To a friend who asked what was wrong, Richard said: “I looks lve got pneumonia. Although I thought that was for people in their 80s ”  And when BBC news presenter Rachael Bland, who herself is currently battling cancer, sent her best wishes, Richard responded: “Thanks Rachael Basicy pneumonia. But across two lungs. I’ll be here a few days. Something I think you know a lot about.”  Yesterday, the Mirror reported how Richard was taken off his plane in a wheelchair and rushed to Lewisham A&E in east London where doctors diagnosed him with the dangerous lung inflammation condition, which can be caused by a virus or bacteria and causes the air sacs to fill with pus A source also told The Sun : “Doctors started treating him for pneumonia but it soon became apparent that it wasn’t working and his condition took a dramatic turn for the worse  “They had no choice but to put him into a medicy induced coma to save his life because things spired so fast, but that was a week ago and they are no closer to finding out what is wrong with him or how to help him ”  They also said that his condition is “touch and go” and that his family are “beside themselves with worry”.  It comes after the TV and radio personality was diagnosed earlier this year with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at the age of 42  Richard, who was fired from Blue Peter in 1998 when he was caught snorting cocaine, had a brain scan that revealed he has two types of ADHD  “If I’d been diagnosed in my twenties the cocaine debacle wouldn’t have happened,” the shamed children’s TV star, who is now in LA working for Fox TV, told The Sun  “But now I can change and be a good father and husband.”  Bacon sought help after his behaviour spired out of control.  I’d lose credit cards twice a week and my wet, keys, passport and phone,” he said  “It sounds trivial, but the consequences add up to something quite serious for your family.  “I’d lose credit cards twice a week and my wet, keys, passport and phone,” he said  “It sounds trivial, but the consequences add up to something quite serious for your family.  “On top of that, I was going out too late and drinking too much I was opening a bottle of wine and getting through it in front of the telly at night.  “It was causing pain and chaos and I was tired the time ”  The dad of two added: “It’s a relief to be diagnosed. I’m so much better, I’m sleeping a lot better, only drinking a couple of times a week and a lot less ”
